LAILA DIALLO & CHARLIE MORRISSEY DANCE INTENSIVE
The fourth Dance Intensive of this Leverhulme Trust programme will be led by Laila Diallo on the Saturday, followed by
Charlie Morrissey on the Sunday.
Laila will lead a release and Cunningham based technique class developing articulation, strength and flexibility in order to
access a wide range of movement. The intensive will then take the form of a creative workshop based on tasks used in the
making of Laila's solo 'wayside', and learning of set material from the solo.
Charlie will explore internal and external experiences of contact improvisation. Working individually, and with partners looking
at ways to tune ourselves to a relaxed, alert and fluid approach to the static and moving environments encountered in contact.
The Dance Intensive takes place at Liverpool Hope University, Cornerstone Campus, Liverpool from 10am-4pm,
Saturday 17th November-Sunday 18th November 2007. The cost is £50/£40.
